Airmasters April 11th Picnic
The Airmasters RC club picnic was held on April llth. The weather was fine, the food was great and we had record attendance. See the Photo pages for
highlights. Thanks to all who volunteered and helped out.
One Design Pylon Racing
Pylon races using the Roger Gagnon Eagle design foamie take place the first Saturday of every month at 9AM. Racing is open to all members. Pilots please check in with
the race co-ordinator no later than 8:30AM on race day.
Prizes range from "Bragging Rights" to "Public Humiliation". Come out and watch the mayhem.
Airmasters Eagle Racing Rules
Objective: complete seven laps around the pylons which will be set 400 feet apart.
First pilot to complete the seven laps without disqualification will be considered the winner of the race.
The start and finish line will be determined prior to racing.
The winners of the races will have a fly off if there is enough pilots to warrant a fly off.
Disqualification: if a pilot cuts any pylon (not going the full distance around the pylon) they are immediately disqualified by the pylon judges or co-ordinator.
The pilot may be notified of the penalty during or after the race by the racing co-ordinator but may continue the race.
Eagle plane as designed without any modifications that will increase speed.
Motor: any 2212-10 motor as purchased.
Electronic speed control: any esc is acceptable.
Battery: any three cell battery no larger than a 35c rating
Prop: any 8x4 prop without modifications.
